Sir Corwyn Oswyr

The Main Protagonist: Sir Corwyn Oswyr of Cyria Fel

Sir Corwyn Oswyr is a household knight in his father’s service. He is the fourth son of Sir Galreuth Oswyr, Lord of Cyria Fel, an Athairi nobleman who holds a mighty borderland castle in the fae-touched woods of the Erid Wold in the Earldom of Heer in the Kingdom of Erid Dania.

Corwyn has always stood apart from his family: For one, compared to his siblings, he has been blessed with physical excellence and otherworldly gifts. His mother has always secretly worked against him, even poisoning his relationship with his siblings, causing him to suspect that he is, in fact, his father's bastard son.

Corwyn spent most of his youth in the neighboring village, serving his uncle and mentor, Sir Elfyr Ves, Lord of Verdyr, as a page and squire. His uncle not only taught him how to be an excellent knight, he also initiated him into the Old Religion.

After Corwyn had been knighted, he returned to Cyria Fel. In order to further his own political ambitions, his older brother, Cyria Fel's High Priest of the Divine King, falsely accused him of being a member of the heretical Nameless Cults. The Inquisition of the Sun Court prosecuted Corwyn but, after the intervention of the Earldom's noblemen, Corwyn was cleared of the charges eventually.

Until the scandal over his trial had blown over, his father sent Corwyn away on travels around the Middle Kingdoms. After a year-long journey through the Danias, the Watchtower Kingdoms, and Atallica, Corwyn just returned to the Kingdom of Erid Dania.
